Bags 123 Terms & Conditions:
Prices & VAT:
All prices shown are in GB Pounds (£) sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 17.5%.
VAT is chargeable on all orders from the UK (excluding Channel Islands*) and from all European Union (EU) member states.
* VAT is NOT applicable on orders for customers ordering from the Channel Islands and for delivery to the Channel Islands. If you are ordering from the Channel Islands please follow the secure online payment process and we will refund to your card number the amount of VAT when we process your order. Alternatively click on the 'Contact me offline for payment details' button in the order form and we will call you for your payment details on the number you have provided during our normal office hours.
Order Processing:
We aim to show on our site only goods we have in stock, and orders are subject to availability of goods at the time the order is received. If the item(s) you order are out of stock we will inform you by e-mail as quickly as possible. We will do our best to inform you of when we will have stock of the item(s) and we will suggest the best way of proceeding with your order. Processing of an order normally commences within a few hours of it being placed. Orders placed over a weekend or public holiday period will be processed on the next available working day. Normally goods ordered are delivered between 1 and up to 7 days from the order being received. You can get a guide as to how long delivery takes by seeing our section on How We Deliver To You.
We reserve the right to decline any order placed via our web site or made by telephone call.
Payment for your order:
You can pay online using a credit or debit card. Payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch/Maestro, Visa Delta, Solo and Electron. Payment processing is provided by 'EPDQ by Barclaycard', one of the leading providers of secure online payment processing. After you have completed the order form and have entered your address and delivery details you should click the 'online payment' button which will then take you to the secure payment area. You will see the 'golden padlock' displayed in your computer's web browser. If you prefer to not enter your payment details online you should click the 'Contact me offline for payment details' button and we will call you on the daytime telephone number you provide. We call customers during our normal office hours, Monday - Friday.
We reserve the right to decline any orders placed with us.
Confirmations & Receipts:
When you place your online order with us you can print off the summary of your order that will be shown on your screen, and we advise you to do so. You will also be sent an e-mail summarising your order and informing you your order has been placed.You can check the status of your order at any time by returning to our web site and typing the full order number into the 'check order status' box on the left hand side of the site. When processing of an your order has been completed we will e-mail to you your sales receipt which you should print and keep as your receipt of purchase. This email will also contain details of how your order will be delivered and when you can expect to receive it.
Cancellation of an Order:
If after placing an order you wish to cancel it we can accept cancellation right up to the time the goods are dispatched, or within 28 days of receipt if the goods have already been dispatched (with the exception of trunks, for which orders can be cancelled up to the moment trunks are dispatched or within 14 days of delivery). The cost of return postage or return delivery is the customer's responsibility. Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card used to make the original purchase after the returned goods are received by us.
Trunks:
Orders for trunks can be cancelled up to the time they are dispatched by us, or within 14 days of the date of delivery to the customer. Please retain the packaging the trunk arrives in as it may need to be re-used should it be necessary to return the trunk. The cost of return postage or delivery is the customer's responsibility. For returns the item must be unused and unmarked
Cabin Carry-on/Hand Luggage Restrictions
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that items listed as cabin carry-on/hand luggage meet with current airline restrictions we cannot be held responsible if an airline or airport change their hand-luggage restrictions and items are declined from being allowed on-board.
Our Price Promise:
If we can match or beat the price of an item(s) from our web site also shown on any other UK web site...we will, subject to our terms and conditions. Item(s) on alternative/competitor web site must be same brand, style/model, and colour, marked as or known to be available at the time the enquiry/notice of price difference is made, and verifiable. Delivery charges/costs not included. We reserve the right to decline any price match, price promise or difference refund.
Fighting Credit Card Crime & Fraud
We are committed to combating fraudulent purchases using stolen or false credit card details. All orders placed with us are checked in detail for authenticity. We work with our various credit card service and bank service providers to verify names, addresses, and card numbers, as well as using various other resources at our disposal to protect genuine customers as well as ourselves from misuse of credit card details. We reserve the right to decline any order we believe to have been placed using stolen or false credit card details, and we will not engage in any further correspondence except with our service providers and the relevant authorities to whom the misuse will be reported.
In the interests of security and for the protection of genuine customers as well as ourselves we reserve the right to deliver goods ordered to the card holder's billing address even if an alternative address for delivery has been given.
Product Images and Colours:
We make every effort to ensure the product images, colour representations and swatches shown on our site are a fair representation of the actual products and colours, but please note there may be variations in photos and colours from the products due to changes made by manufacturers, design and style changes, the inclusion or deletion of features, colour differences and other changes which we cannot be held responsible for. Also the settings of PC/Mac monitors and TV's, over which we have no input or control, can cause a visual difference in the way images and colours are shown. We cannot be held responsible for any perceived difference between the images and colours shown and the actual products.
We reserve the right to amend, change or delete products and images shown on our site, and without prior notice.
Complaints:
Should you feel you have any reason to make a complaint please email us via our contact page or write to us at Bags123.com, 1016-1018 Whitgift Centre, Croydon CR0 1UU. Any complaints made will be acknowledged as soon as they are received or within five working days. WE will advise you of the time it might take to resolve any complaints and we will keep you informed by email or phone. We endeavour to resolve any complaints within ten working days.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
